Min mamma och Margot, min extramamma under utbytesåret, i Arvidsjaur 2008, då vi var där för lilla tant Es dop. Mamma hade varit tillsammans med min syster C till Kiruna veckan innan och åkte hundspann och kört skoter till Ishotellet innan de åkte med buss och mötte oss i Arvidsjaur. Mamma och syrran fick bo hos Margot då det är väldigt trångbott hos svärmor och svärfar. Tusen tack, Margot! Och återigen tack till FrkNiia som flyttade ut ur sin lägenhet så att mamma och syrran kunde bo där! KRAM

Where does time go?

Update...january 2009

It has been a hectic month, illness being a central theme. Work has been getting me down. For those who dont know, i work on a cancer ward and my main patient group have lymphoma...need i say more. The cound down is on, E turns one on Saturday! Where has the past year gone??? And now there are no places in daycare for our little one...J had planned on heading back to work in April. I'll keep you updated on that one.

Otherwise all is well. C and O are enjoying school. O can read and asks for homework. Her teachers have my sympathies as well as my admiration. C's teacher, however, has not been enjoying school. She is leaving her job in February...not good as you who know our C can imagine.

Bedtime...

April and onwards....until August

April, april...time to get used to being a family of five...the much loved and missed mormor and auntie had now been home for weeks. E was growing like a weed and C turned 8...we had dinners with friends, spent hours at Leos playland...and prepared for the big trip.


MAY and JUNE

Spent in Oz, with aunties and mormor and uncles and Nana and Pa. In the car (thanks again J and T and S and M!) on the beach. Those eight weeks sure went fast...

JULY

Arvidsjaur, farmor and farfar, a little summer weather. Holidays.

AUGUST

School, again for C, first time for O. Very exciting. E still growing. Countdown for back-to-work for me:(

Haven't been able to continue the 2008 run-through as we have been hit by gastro...

The year that was 2008! January-March

So this hasn't been updated for ages/evigheter. I guess it really was the calm before the storm that raged from nov 3 until now! A lot has happened since i last put my fingers to the qwerty keyboard and documented our domestic bliss. I thought that seeing as we have a new year and all that, maybe it is time for a quick run-through of 2008...in pictures! Hope you all had a merry Christmas and wish you all a safe and happy new 2009!

2007 ended with the surprise arrival of mormor and auntie C Boxing Day morning! Wonderful and totally surprising for both me and the children...J managed to keep a secret!

And then the waiting started...we waited for the baby to arrive...and had to wait days and days:)

Then, finally, our little E came to us in a hurry, on the 24th of January!

February was a 'dark' month when everyone was sick. Conjutivitis and influensa and coughs and sniffles. Little E ended up in hosital for two days with RS-virus, only 2 weeks old. It was horrible.

Darth was there to protect us!

March was filled with being healthy, spending time with friends and family and travel. Mormor and auntie C headed up to far northern Sweden and then it was time for E's christening, held in Arvidsjaurs beautiful church.

Bedtime for me, tomorrow I will hopefully finish this. One more day of holidays then it is back to work...

Long time

no update. Sorry about that. Have just returned from a trip up north to J's parents to celebrate All Hallows Eve...not Halloween, although O was out with the wonderful F and did a bit of trick or treating.

I'm working and sort of enjoying it. The autumn break is over for the big kids and I suspect that J is relieved, I don't think he would admit it though.

Bit excited about the big election and hope and hope that Obama takes it home!

So I will be working tomorrow with my fingers crossed...

E is all over the place now, and she can point!
